Who is Brooke?
Brooke Preston is a chef, educator, and pioneer in healing nutrition with over 30 years of experience helping people restore health through food that is both deeply nourishing and genuinely enjoyable.
She began her career in 1992 by launching one of the Bay Area’s first wellness-focused meal delivery services and later founded The Green Boheme, a restaurant that became internationally recognized for its raw, plant-forward cuisine. Named among the world’s top raw vegan chefs, Preston has spent decades teaching others how to work with the body—rather than against it—to support energy, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.
For the past nine years, Preston has also worked as a seasoned women’s health coach, supporting women through personalized one-on-one coaching as well as leading group programs and facilitating women’s wellness retreats. Through this work, she has developed a deep understanding of the unique physical, emotional, and lifestyle shifts women experience throughout midlife and beyond.
Through her work, she has witnessed firsthand how strategic nutrition, education, and sustainable lifestyle practices can stabilize energy, support metabolic health, and help women reclaim sovereignty over their bodies. Her approach blends culinary mastery with practical education and compassionate coaching, making health and wellness accessible, sustainable, and empowering.
In Reinvented, Preston brings her decades of experience to the table—curating nutritional strategies that support glucose balance, hormone health, and metabolic resilience, while reminding readers that food should be a source of nourishment, pleasure, and confidence.
